Megan Blake (BA) is a multi disciplinary artist who specialises in photography with an interest in graphic design.

Her photographic work centres around portraiture, particularly enjoying the exploration of hidden identities. She captures the personality of her subjects, using colour to reference ranges of emotional and mental states. The way she navigates the theme of "Identity" allows her to explore imagination and fantasy, documenting these in both two- and three-dimensional final outcomes. 

Toys and games heavily influence the fantasy aspect of her work, and she uses digital manipulation in post-production to create characters and surreal imagery from and inspired by her portraits. 

Her aim is to be playful with her artwork, but she is also able to address deeper issues with her more focused portrait photography.

In her personal life she has a strong passion for live music where she attends many concerts. Live music photography is an area she is interested in expanding within her portfolio to combine her profession and hobby.
